What you need to submit your design
What inputs do I need to submit for the manufacturers to be able to bid? Sketches? Or entire tech sheets?
Once you log into your account on the platform, click Start Now at the top of your dashboard, and then you will see a series of screens that walk you through a series of questions about your first sample (ie. product type, fabric color, fabric type, sample size, etc). It will also ask you to upload either detailed photos of your design or a tech pack or sewing pattern.
We do not accept sketches, so please upload photos of a design sample that you own or a similar design you find online. These photos create the base pattern for your design that the manufacturers can send you bids based on. Then, you can write in the Comments sections in your project which modifications you want to make to the design shown in the photos you upload. If you can take photos of the modifications you want to the suit using tape or chalk to indicate the modification, that's also very helpful for the factory!
Remember that your account manager will review your design listing before it gets approved and listed for manufacturers to bid on and will let you know if your design has been rejected if any details are missing or approved.
