Update on COVID-19

Updated August 24, 2020

There’s a lot happening right now, and that’s had a big impact on the fashion industry we love and serve. Fortunately, Italian apparel, shoe, and accessories manufacturers and Italian fabric suppliers were able to resume on-site operations Monday, May 4, 2020.

However, Italy, as a member of the European Union, currently prohibits nonessential travel to Italy for United States residents. Please visit https://reopen.europa.eu/en for more information.

No, at this time, we do not discourage fashion brands from manufacturing their products in Italy.
This is because:

  • Our Italy-based customer service headquarters are still fully operational.
  • The factories in our network have been thoroughly and are continually vetted for quality and labor standards, by our MakersValley team in Italy.
